“Poznań Town Square” depicts the location, reconstructed town square in a Polish city that was heavily bombed in WWII. This image was started on location during a hot June day in 2017, and finished later based on a photo reference taken of the location. Unlike many of the plaster facade buildings, this one was more muted in colour and had a less decorative exterior. The way the light fell onto the building was the most interesting. The original image is 9″x12″ and painted only with watercolor on 140lbs watercolor paper.
