Payment Plan Policy

Like art galleries, I offer purchasing original art on a payment plan. This is sometimes called deposits, layaway plans, instalments, split payments, ect. The total cost of the artwork is divided into monthly payments, so now you can spread out the cost of an artwork over 3, 6, 9, 12 weeks! This is great if you are on a budget or fixed income that doesn’t give you room for purchasing original art upfront. You subscribe and forget about it until it’s paid off with automatic payments, and then I send your art at the address provided with insurance for loss & damage. How does the payment plan work?

The payment plan simply places invoices for every month for the length of the plan you select (3, 6, 9, 12 weeks). Each month, the payment method you selected (credit card, Paypal, Stripe, ect) is charged automatically until the total cost is paid off. It is not a loan. The process is done with automated software. There is no third-party company involved, such as many digital loan sharks that could destroy your credit score. Do I need to have Paypal account?

Just like my regular checkout, you do not need a Paypal account. Paypal supports making charges to guest credit cards.

Do you store my credit card number?

No, that is processed by the payment company (Paypal, Stripe, your bank). I never see your credit card number or anything.

Is there interest charged on the payment plan?

No, I am not a big corporation and I have no interest in being a banking service. I just want to offer an afford option for buying artwork to make my art more accessible to everyone.

When do I receive the art?

The art is shipped only when it is fully paid off. Once you start the payment plan, the artwork is reserved to your name.

What happens if I decided I don’t want it anymore? Can I get a refund?

Since I can’t sell the artwork to anyone else while you reserve it, I can only offer a 50% refund or an exchange for original art or prints that match the amount you paid. So if you started a payment plan and completed $100 in payments, I could offer you $100 in art prints or an original art that is $100 total, or a $50 refund.

Can I exchange art I bought if I change my mind?

Yes, you have 30 days to exchange art after receiving it. However, it must be in perfect condition. I will not refund or exchange original art that is damaged either by the collector or by poor shipping. Just like when I ship it to you, I expect the artwork to be packaged well with insurance & a tracking number (if I provided one). Original art is one-of-a-kind so I can’t simply replace it if it is damaged. I highly recommend photographing the art & package before shipping as a precaution. I will ship the art exchanged when I received the returned artwork and check the condition.

Are shipping and taxes included in the payment plan?

They are charged at checkout.

Can I have multiple payment plans for different artworks?

Yes, you can group payment plans.

Do you accept cheques or cash for payment plans?

No, I only accept cards and payment processors. This is a fully automated process.
