“Turtle at the Butterfly Conservatory” is a painting of a snapping turtle sitting on decorative driftwood with rippling water reflections. The painting is entirely watercolour and the first painting of 2018. It is based on a photograph Karolina took at the Niagara Falls Butterfly Conservatory in 2011; it was created entirely on Karolina’s Twitch live-stream.
